ABOUT THIS COURSE

Work Safely at Heights delivers the standard heights qualification — RIIWHS204E — giving workers the essential skills to identify fall hazards, assess risks, select appropriate fall protection equipment and work safely at height.

This course covers the requirements of the WHS Regulation Managing Risk of Falls Code of Practice and AS/NZS 1891 Industrial Fall Arrest Systems. It includes practical assessment of harness fitting, equipment inspection, anchor points and safe work at height scenarios.

This qualification covers heights work only — no EWP licence is included. For heights combined with EWP operation, see Work Safely at Heights – Operate Elevating Work Platform. For boom EWP licence, see Work Safely at Heights + Boom EWP Licence.
