ABOUT THIS COURSE

HLTAID016 Manage First Aid Services and Resources is the coordinator-level qualification for those responsible for planning, resourcing and reviewing first aid programs across a workplace or organisation.

This course covers the management aspects of first aid provision: risk assessment, equipment selection, first aid officer scheduling, training plans, incident review and continuous improvement. It is aligned with Safe Work Australia’s First Aid in the Workplace Code of Practice.

It is suited to WHS officers, HR managers, safety advisors and senior first aid coordinators who are responsible for the first aid program rather than (or in addition to) delivering first aid themselves. Existing first aid qualification (HLTAID011 or HLTAID014) is strongly recommended as a foundation.
