ABOUT THIS COURSE

This combined pathway delivers Work Safely at Heights (RIIWHS204E) alongside Operate Elevating Work Platform (RIIHAN301E) — covering the heights skills required across all work-at-height tasks and the operation of EWPs under 11 metres.

This course is the right pathway for workers who use scissor lifts, vertical mast lifts and smaller boom lifts (under 11 metres) as part of their role. Above 11 metres a High Risk Work Licence is required — see Work Safely at Heights + Boom EWP Licence for that pathway.

It combines the standard heights training (harness, anchors, fall arrest, SWMS, suspension trauma) with EWP-specific content covering pre-operational inspection, ground assessment, controls, safe operation and emergency procedures.
