ABOUT THIS COURSE
MSMPER200 Work in accordance with an issued permit is the worker-facing unit of the permit-to-work suite — the practical knowledge needed to operate safely under hot work, confined space, isolation, working at heights or other formal permit systems.
The unit teaches you what a permit is for, how to read its conditions, how to confirm controls are in place before you start, and how to recognise the moment when the work has changed enough that the permit no longer applies.
It is the entry-level unit of the permit suite (alongside MSMPER201 Monitor and control work permits and MSMPER202 Observe permit work, and beneath the permit-issuer unit MSMPER300). Many sites require this unit before any contractor or worker can be authorised to work under a permit.
