About Our Founding Director
Pierre Maré
Pierre Maré is the founder and Executive Director of Inertia Group Holdings, bringing together Inertia Consulting, Inertia Technology and Inertia Training under a unified and integrated structure.
With more than 25 years of international experience across operational industries, enterprise systems, auditing and compliance advisory, Pierre combines technical depth with disciplined leadership. His career began in South Africa, where he completed compulsory military service and qualified as a paratrooper, rising to the rank of Platoon Sergeant. This experience instilled structured decision-making, accountability and composure under pressure — principles that continue to underpin his leadership approach.
Following his military service, Pierre built a diverse career spanning forestry operations, enterprise software development, project management and ISO-based management systems. Since migrating to Australia in 2005, he has held senior roles across forestry, auditing and consulting before establishing his first business in 2015.
That experience ultimately evolved into Inertia Group — a structured, systems-based model designed to simplify compliance, strengthen operational performance and integrate advisory, verification and workforce capability within one aligned framework.
Pierre is recognised for his calm, methodical leadership style and his ability to translate complex regulatory and operational requirements into practical, workable systems. His vision is clear: to build integrated capability that supports Australian organisations operating in demanding, high-risk environments.
